This guy is today's foremost authority on the canon of the New Testament. His book, Canon Revisited: Establishing the Origins and Authority of the New Testament Books, was absolutely excellent and filled with a vast amount of information any Christian would benefit from, especially as we encounter skeptics of the collection of books in the NT.
Also his series of blog posts entitled 10 Basic Facts About the NT Canon Every Christian Should Memorize is very helpful as well.
